My mom's American Dream was to come to the United States and work. To gives my brothers, sisters and me the best. She is really happy knowing that she had accomplished
this dream. One thing is that she still want to accomplish another dreams that she has. That
is to learn how to speak English. As also to become an American Citizen so she could
bring my two sister that live in Mexico.
One of my dad's dream is to have a better job. In order to finished the payment of the house faster. He wants to have all of his family in the United States. Another dream of his is he want to have all of his kids to be professional as to have a career. Which is half way completed! My bad want to become an American Citizen also. This are the dreams that he want to come true.

Heehe my mom also wants to learn english. She understands me a little but not a whole sentece worth lol. Im glad your family has gone 2 collge. Out of 5 of my sisters only one has gone.
Hi Erika. The more I read the more I see the reasons what other people's American Dreams are and how they compare to each other. Just like you mom my mom and dad want to learn English, they do speak and understand it a little, but not a whole lot. Like I wrote in Ruben's blog, we should be thankful for what our parent's dreams and what those dreams have done for us and for them. American Dreams..no words...can....descirbe them. Our moms always think of us first and then of themselves :) My mom wants to learn english too well she knows a little bit but not much. i wish your mom gd luck because i've heard becomin an american citizen is gettin harder every time, but she'll pass the test you'll see :) well at least you have a house my mom's dream is to HAVE her own house.
Yup everyone wants to learn English. Its good that your mom wants to learn it to and it would be better if they did. And your parents could both be citizens they just have to work real hard.
thing about mom is that they never out themselves first. thats why we always try we dont want to dissapoint our moms. Like your mom mostly came here for you and your brothers and sisters.
hopefully ur other sisters get to come here. my mom also wants to learn english lol she getting there but she sounds funny sometimes. thats a good thing that ur parents dream come true hopefully they accomplish all of them> comment on mine.
Tell your mother to keep trying to become a citizen of this great country. She can leran English by going to a book store and rent some books about English. Tell also your dad to keep on trying to become a citizen. Is good that he also wants your brothers and sisteer, and you to get a career. Keep up trying and never quit.
hey erika i think you did a good job in explainig what your mom and dad american dream is,but you have do it more creative,but also i waz just wodering how many brothers and sisters do you have? cuz you mentioned alot.
hey, well hope that your parents can accomplishe their goals. Especially becoming citezens because things are gonna get hard here in this country. My mom wants that too.
MY MOM WANTS TO LEARN ENGLISH TOO SHE HAS A HARD TIME DOING THIS BUT SHE TRIES. I KNOW THAT YOUR MOM MUST BE WORKING HARD TO ACOMPLISH HER GOAL INTO FIXING HER PAPERS TO BRING FAMILY MEMBERS BECAUSE ITS HARD FOR EVERYONE TO TRY TO BRING SOME ONE FROM THEIR COUNTRY THAT THEY COME FROM. I KNOW HOW YOUR DAD FEELS ABOUT GETTING A BETTER JOB BECAUSE EVERY UNDOCUMENTED PERSON GOES TROUGH THE SAME TRYING TO GET A BETTER JOB BECAUSE ALL UNDOCUMENTED PEOPLE GET PAID LESS THAN ANY CITIZEN WHICH IS UNFAIR BUT THOSE ARE THE THINGS THAT WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR.
